- Chicken breast: half kilo (boneless and skin)
- Salt: As desired
- Black pepper: as desired
- Flour: 1/4 cup
- Olive oil: 2 1/2 tablespoons (or 3 tablespoons of unsalted butter)
- Garlic: 2 cloves (mashed)
- Apple Cider Vinegar: 1 tablespoon and a half
- Soy Sauce: 1 tablespoon
- Honey: One third cup
How to prepare
Cut the chicken breasts into halves, in length, until they form four pieces. Sprinkle salt and pepper on each side of the four chicken pieces.
Place the flour in a large dish;
Heat 2 tablespoons of oil (or melt 3 tablespoons of butter) in a frying pan, over medium to high heat; cook the chicken pieces for three minutes, until golden. Turn the chicken pieces to the other side and cook for a minute.
Reduce the heat until medium to high; add onions, pour the rest of the oil (or butter) over the onions, stirring gently when the butter melts or the oil warms. Pour the vinegar, add both soy sauce and honey, stirring. When the sauce boils, reduce the heat, and keep the ingredients on the fire for a minute, with a thickness note.
The chicken returns to the pan; Serve the chicken immediately, with the rest of the sauce.
